DXF Layer Mapping

I use  the INV to model large sheet metal weldments and create cut DXF files to be used in Pronest. Within the nesting software i can apply cut, mark, and center mark to different layers of a DXF file. can INV create these different DXF layers. BTW i am the one nesting the files.

I believe you can customise the layer names, line coulour and type (hidden, solid) and maybe even width. But there is a set amount of these export layers and I don't think you can add/subtract them, but maybe turn them off is do-able. See this post for a bit more info. Hope it helps.

I looked at that post and it references the step I am trying to avoid ACAD.
I am thinking if INV does not have the capability of multi layer DXF
creation I will use the nesting software to create the different processes
instead of using a third software (ACAD) to do this operation.
