DWG; STEP export - each part should be represented by its own layer

Hello guys,

I searched a lot, but I could not find anything that helped me.

I want to export a STEP- or DWG-File from an assembly in Inventor 2014 (not only a drawing; but the whole assembly, including each part). This file is supposed to be imported into Auto CAD Mechanical 2012. My problem is that every part in Inventor should be represented by its own layer in Auto CAD Mechanical. But I can't find an export-option in Inventor that may solve this problem. I can't believe that this isn't possible with Inventor.
