Drive parameter & Adaptivity setting

Hi

 

When i give drive & start to play , there is error come like this what i pasted a photo

so to over come this what should i do

 

Plz give suggestion

Hi!

 

Are you sure you have degrees of freedom to have the movement you want to do?

 

Suppress the DRIVE constrain and try to make the movement mannually first.

Make sure to expand the drive dialog and check the box highlighted in the image below:

Also your part must have "Adaptive" Status ON.

Hi! The error usually means Inventor encouter constraint solving error at a given drive constraint value. Usually, you should be able to replicate the behavior without using Drive constraint by supplying the same constraint value at the point of failure. It is hard to tell where the problem exactly is just by looking at the picture. If you could upload the files here or send them to me (johnson.shiue@autodesk.com), I would be able to tell where the problem is.
