Drive constraints

How do I get two or more drive constraints to work at the same time in Inventor?

Thanks

One way that is possible is if all of the constraints can be related (by formula) to another.

For example: The vertical travel of a cylinder is X and the horizontal travel of two other cylinders is X * .5.

gsmith9810 comment are pretty much on the mark. Using a parameter or equation that is shared has been the only way I've found to drive two constraints at the same time. You may want to look at using Inventor Studio which will allow you to use constraints to drive and you can do more then one at the same time without have them use a equation or shared parameter.

Check out this example of what can be done using this technique: http://222.239.79.105/?module=file&act=procFileDownload&file_srl=1083525&sid=548fdc0b01129697f7cf173...

Used to be a tuning machine (gearbox) for a guitar delivered with the product. Driving the knob caused the post to revolve at the correct ratio.

I built a watch that animated with a single constraint. Hour, minute, second hands all ran and the date in the window changed. All at accelerated speeds since what could be more boringthan watching an animated watch?
