Drawing visibility

Since changing to Inventor I seem to be unable to turn off visibility of parts in assemblies on a drawing. Usually I just expand the view in the browser then right click on parts and turn off visibility. When I try this the visibility option is grey.
I have attached a jpg.

dear Steve,

If you make the base view for the drawing than must say associative and than it is working

Best regards

How do I set the base view to be associative?
I didn't have any problem with this in Inventor 2010, has something changed?

Dear Steve,

Look at the picture red cirkel.

Sometimes on 2010 do you have this problem also.

Steve,
Go into the properties of the base view and uncheck the 'associative' box.

Leaving this checked allows component visibility to be controlled by a view rep in the .iam.
By unchecking the box, you can control component visibility with a RMB on the part in the drawing browser.
HTH,
MarkC
