Drawing headon dimension

headon.png

I'm trying to make a blueprint for a builder and I want the dimensions to show up headon facing me.

What do I do... I've sat through a few youtube videos none covering this.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'head on', but if you RMB while placing the isometric dimension and select "Annotation Plane" and then 1 of the options you can get different results for the dimension. Hope this helps.

Sounds like you have zero training in and with Inventor software.

This would be a start:

This would be another:

Thanks for the kind reply. I'm not sure what you right-click on, I've tried right-clicking on everything and I can't get a pop up window with Annotation Plane in the menu.

Not sure how you are getting a dimension displayed like that - can you attach example files?

Also try hitting the Spacebar when placing the dimensions.
