Double tables

Hello,

I was wondering if I'm able to create two tables in an iassembly, like one table for size and another for different components in the same assembly.

I have a vague memory of an old assembly having this but I can't find it or it's just a figure of my imagination.

Thanks in advance!

Regards, Leander

Leander,

If you are talking about an actual assembly you can insert tables throu insert object.

If you are talking about an assembly drawing you can add as many general tables as you need.

If it is something different then this please clarify.

I'm trying this in an .iam.

I've attached some test files to help me explaining.

I'm trying to create an iassembly which allowes me to replace Part1(to a longer or shorter one) and at the same time have a different table with which I'm able to include or exclude Part2.

So my end product should be an assembly with two tables separate left in my object browser.

Thanks in advance!

Regards, Leander

Little responce,

I haven't found the solution yet but I do have a work around using Level of Detail Representations in combination with a Ipart/Iassembly.

Being able to select the size with a table and excluding objects using the LOD.
