double curved stringer ??

Hi expertise,

Please can anyone explain how can i create this type of unfoldable stringer like in image, right side stringer has one radius but the left side of stringer has two redius.

it's just for practice and to see how Inventor handle this type of work.

i also attached dwg if in case you need that.

Thank you so much in advance.

Regards.

The dwg file you attached looks nothing like the image you attached.

I don't understand what you are trying to do?

Hi ayub.shahid,

Attached is an example file that demonstrates one quick method to create the whole flight and flatten it. There might be other ways to do this as well.

Having said that, it just occured to me that you asked for the stringers, rather than the stairs, so I've attached those files as well.

These might not be exactly what you're after but should give you some ideas.

You did not indicate which version of Inventor you have, so I've done this in the oldest version I have, which is Inventor 2010. So hopefully you will be able to open the attached file.

I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,
Curtis
