I noticed that if I dimension any surface to surface with the distance tool, I always get the dimensions for x,y,and z below the linear distance I just selected. Is there a reason why I can not get the same x,y, and z dimensions when I measure axis to axis? Reason being, is that I have two shafts that are not in line with each other and I would still like to know the center distances parallel to the top of the frame.
