Disappearing Text

Hello All,

I remember this from a previous version and it was a hot fix.  When creating a drawing and annotating a note I am dropping text.  See attached.

Forgot to mention I just upgraded to 2012 when this problem arose!  and I can't find the Hot fix download area any more

That hotfix was available for version 9 through 11. It does not apply to newer versions. You have another issue.

Did you install Inventor 2012 correctly?

Well,

I simply rebooted my PC and some windows updates installed.  It seems to be fine now.  Thanks for the efforts.

Are you telling us a Windows update actually FIXED an issue as opposed to CAUSING the issue?

No, I am not saying that, but there were pending updates applied when I performed the reboot.  Go figure...

i like your sense of humour - even do i am crying so often when
facing 'scores of variety bugs' in INV2012 and my hands falling down when finding
advise how to fix it.

why i did not followed my own rules and not stayed with 2011? -
i guess i was hoping since 2011 was almost error less, Autodesk has learned
from previous mistakes.

however it look like Autodesk is - say - not that clever
