Disappearing part's lines in I6sp1 .idw files #2

There have been a few instances where I have run into .idw files of .iam
files and some of the part's lines disappeared in section views of round
assemblies. This was very inconsistent as in some of the section views,
there were no problems while in others, one half would be ok while the other
half would be missing some lines, but not the section lines - the section
lines were always visible. Specifically, all lines associated to a
particular part. The missing lines from view to view (if there is a problem
with more than one anyway) are not always the same part.

I've had the same problem. Anyone know how or why this happens? Hoping it's
not the video card, as I have one of the better ones. (3DLabs Oxygen GVX1

If you turn hidden lines for that particular view on, then back off the part
lines will show back up.

Did you try a rebuild all from the tools menu? This worked for me.

rebuild if you are in the iam or ipt but in the idw you need to update the view. we have noticed that we update the view that works well sometimes it looks as though it is done but did not do anything but give it time. the red view icon in the browser will turn back to normal when that happens you know it is as good as it gets.

I think there is a software issue here that needs
to be looked into.  When we have seen this problem the icons in the browser
are black, denoting the views are fully updated.  However when a view
regeneration is forced by turning the hidden lines on, letting the view update
then turning the hidden lines back off and once again letting the view update
everything is fine.
