Disappearing command box

We have Inventor Professional 2008 and when we activate a command and the command dialog box comes up, it dissapears as soon as you go to choose the first parameter. the box is still there, and buttons reappear one at a time if you slowly move the pointer over them, but it is very annoying. This happens with the constraint dialog in assemblies, my right click box, and others have observed this with all other command boxes. It primarily happens when the box comes up over the display portion of the screen. It seems to work fine however when it comes up covering the command bar portion of the screen. This is happening on multiple computers here that are all set up identically. We have service pack 2 installed. Any ideas? It's not something we can't work around, it's just annoying and slows us down somewhat.

Try switching between D3D and OpenGL.

I had the same problem. Uninstalled Intellipoint mouse driver and problem was gone.
