Hello everyone, is there a way to get inventor to extend both ends of a line when chaging a dimension?

Example: If I have an object drawn lets say, a triangle and I what to change the base length from 3 inches to 4 inches

inventor extends the line to the right 1 inch. Can I set it up to extend in both directions .5 inches?

In what environment? Part sketch?  If so, then you need to constrain the middle of the line to something that doesn't move, such as the part origin.

oops..misread..

Just apply a vertical constraint from the middle of the line to the origin point.
