Dimensioning in Iso view

Hello,

I cannot seem to dimension properly in the the ISO view. When I use the align feature the lines are not alinged properly. What I am trying to do is dimension the top of a square plate and have the overall dimension show in the ISO view. When I do an aligned dimension, it shows not aligned and the dimension value is even wrong.

Anyone have any help on this? This is driving me nuts.

Thanks

Kevin

Iso dimensioning is not supported. There have been some possible workarounds posted in
the past, but I am not sure if anyone has found it worthwhile to do.

Make a derived part of scale
1/sqrt(2/3)  and create an isometric view from the derived part -
Then you'd have Iso true Dim.

This is a great workaround. Who figured this one out?

Kevin,
I would be interested if you had any joy with this one.
I also require isometric dimension for pipework drawings but the aligned command does not draw the dimension within the isometric planes.
Is there a lisp routine that would achieve this?

Danny.
