Dimension Position oddity

Look in CF under same topic.

In the last sketch there are 4 circles (two of which have been terminated by
some lines. Try to dimension the offset distance between the out and next
circles segments. If you place the dimension within the 5 deg area it will
place. If you try to place it outside of the 5 deg the dimension
disappears. Now do the same with the offset between the outer segment and
the inside copper band. And again for the offset between the 3rd circle and
the 2nd circle segment. All of these dimension must be within the 5deg
area. Makes for quite a crowded spot.

You can drag them off after placement but they drag as dims that are tangent
at that point and not as true diametrical offsets.

I don't recall have this limitation in 5.3 (can't switch back at the moment)

It works the same way in 5.3. Do we need round extension lines?

It's not the extension lines I'm really bothered by. It's the fact that I
can only place the dim in this small 5deg area and then drag them off. What
if that area was only 1deg wide. It would be a nightmare trying to place
the dims.

Now if I make the offsets before I trim the circle it works fine. Just
annoying...
