Dim. a threaded Rod

How do I dim. a thread in an IDW? I have a 1 1/4" shaft with unc 7 threads 1
inch up the rod. I can't seem to see an easy way to dim. in an IDW.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Jonathan

Nope, that's why I was so confused.

Can you post the ipt and idw to iCF?

Toggle the display style to "hidden line", then place the thread note.
Then toggle back to "shaded". It does seem like you "should" be able to
attach a hole/thread note to a shaded view.

Didn't work. I posted the files in IVCF.

Which view? It worked for me on both the lefthand "base" and the center
"projected" view.

Posted back the idw only. Not renamed but should be. Had to delete a
couple of unresolved files from the iam. If this was a pack-n-go, it
missed a couple of files off the server.
The notes were finicky about sticking. I toggled the views to
"hidden" (leftmost icon in view style) and was able to get them to
stick, but not on the first try. Seems a little buggy to me, but kinda
works.

It didn't work on any of the views. The hidden line that should represent
the treads doesn't even show up.

Check the next reply and iCF, and see if that clears it up.

Got it, Still I shouldn't have to mess around like that just to get some
thread notes. AutoDesk maybe you could take a look at this file? Thanks for
the help darvinv.
