Diameter symbol in text

Sometimes when revising my drawings, I would like to have a diameter symbol in my revision history block which I created in a similar method as my title block. In MCAD, we could use %%c,%%d for different symbols. Is there anything in Inventor like this
Thx
Kev

Whole list of special characters under the degree symbol.

Or by keyboard Alt 0216 Ø
For more check the Windows Character Map under Start Programs Accessories.

In fact Alt 0216 is not the diameter symbol but the Latin capital letter O
with stroke. The letter O with this diacritic is a common Danish and
Norwegian umlaut and may look very different from the diameter sign in many
fonts. The diameter sign is Alt 8960. It's absent in most fonts though.

unfortunately using the Symbols available from the Format Text Window will shift the line text down and one ends up with unevenly spaced line text because these symbols use a different font. To remedy this Autodesk
recommended to use Alt-0176 for Degrees, Alt-0177 for Plus/Minus, Alt-0216 for Diameter.Note you must use the numbers from the numeric keypad on the right side of the keyboard. Press and hold ALT key, type in the four numbers and then let go ALT key.
