Design Views

I have a top level assembly with several change-over assemblies. The change
overs have views set as design views. When I add parts to the main assembly
the new parts are added to the design views I have previously set up for the
change-over views. Is there a way to add parts to a top level assembly to
only show in a specific design view? This way I don't have to update all the
design views I have already created.

Not currently. It's a gripe many of us have had for some time now. We are
hoping this will be addressed in a future release.
