design views slow

Is it normal for design views to to be extremely slow? Such as applying a
design view or creating an idw view from a design view. Some of my updates
are taking several minutes.

Thanks
Scott

How Many design views do you have? There was some issues when files had x? number of
design views or more. I know it is fixed in R6, and I don't know to much about it here,
but a search of the old NG for posts from David Radlin should bring up some posts that
might shed some light on it.
