I've had similar problems with DA in renaming parts. When you rename a part
under the assembly the only link that is preserved is between the part and
that one assembly. What if the same part is used in different assemblies?
I seems you have to open each assembly individually and repair the link.
Same for the .idw of the part. Am I wrong about this?
This feature would actually be useful if it would allow you to simply rename
the part and then update the links to every place that part is used. I'm
still using 5.3 so I don't know if anything has changed in v6.
