Design assistant - RENAME not good...

When a RENAME a .IPT file the design assistant is adding a period to the file

Example:
old name: plate01.ipt
new name: plate02.ipt (wath I want to be)

real name after saving is: plate02..ipt

How do I remove that period (.) within the desing assistant.
I'm working with R6.

Thank for the help.

I've heard about his, I've seen files on the network like this. Does anyone know if a bug has been logged on this? Is it easily reproducible?

And all this time I thought it was my penchant for typos... I've seen this
a few times as well. Don't know what causes it..

Fighting those bad memory cells here again, but if I remember right the cause is from
adding your own extension. I think if you leave the extension off it adds the extension
itself and does it right.

I suppose I should go double check, but can't for a bit.
