I've had problems with DA with SP1 in as much as it insists on adding newver in the filenames of copied files. I've installed SP2 but the problem still exists ! Anybody else ?

nope. i use design assistant every day. i haven't experienced that problem.
have you tried a repair on your installation? you'll loose all of your
application settings, so print screen before you do this. i do repairs all
the time and it usually fixes every problem that i have...besides those
pesky bugs...
