If I (in IV7) derive parameter "length" into part-B from part-A and then I
use it on say the length of a contour flange (for instance). Everything
seems to work fine until I make the contour flange in part-B adaptive, IV
seem to loose the parameter, the contour flanges length then becomes the
numerical value that the parameter was and hence is no longer linked.
I this normal and anyone else have this problem or could I be doing
something wrong ?
