Default new sheet name

When I add a new sheet to a drawing, the new sheet name is always the same as the Active sheet name.

I want to keep the new name as "Sheet" whatever the active sheet name is.

Is there a way to do this?

Regards

Hi there.

When you create a new sheet, do you use the right-click menu?

If you are willing to do things a different way, double click on the sheet you want in the 'Sheet Formats' folder of the browser. This should create a new sheet with the default sheet name of 'Sheet'.

Apart from that, I don't think you can do the same with the right-click menu or Place Views > Sheets > New Sheet in the ribbon

another option might be to use iLogic to create a new sheet.

I hope this helps.

Jonathan
