default IDW name "-1" suffix

When saving a new IDW, the corresponding IPT name is placed into the IDW filename. Sometimes, a "-1" is placed at the end (for example, "Widget-1.idw"). What triggers this to happen? Just curious -Brad

I think that happens when an IDW with the name Widget.idw already exists in the project. Kathy Johnson

Say that you place a base view of ABCDE.ipt in a new idw drawing. Now delete the view and place another base view. If you chose "save" now, the drawing name will be default be ABCDE-1.idw Funny thing is if you place the ABCDE.ipt as the base view for a third time, then delete it, you would think the name would default to ABCDE-2.idw....but no, it goes back to ABCDE.idw Don't really know if this is as-designed or a bug.......just the way it is.
