Database schema???

[ERROR] Database schema is newer than this version of the software
When opening a drawing in Inventor r7 I get the above error. I have used some of the fasteners from CBliss site...which by the way I find to be a very good site.
Thanks anticipation.

I think this would mean that the drawing and/or
parts have been opened and saved with Inventor Release 8 .

Unfortuantely earlier releases cannot open files
saved in the latest release (with the expection of R6 opening R7
files)

Hope this helps,

Dave Moore.

Thanks Dave
Turns out, the boss.... who is the only one with Inventor 8
has been opening our models. He said he didn't save them though.....sure. I explained to him what happens to Inventor models when you open them in different releases.
Anyway I think part time Inventor users should leave it
to the 'experts" who use it all the time. lol
Thanks again have a good Xmas

Yeah its hot... I went fishing yesterday and forgot
my hat, so every time I frown or glance up at something I get a shooting pain
across my head...... my girlfriend said she could read by the glow of my head
last night....
