cylinder holes

i can not seem to make holes in a tube or a cylinder.....can anyone help[ me out?....please shoot me an e-mail at baldwinandsonautomotive@gmail.com if you can help or have any ideas.

You might need to provide a little more information, but if you're asking what I think you are, create a workplane tangent to the cylinder face, then a sketch on the workplane to define your hole centres.

Hi! The workflows to create a hole feature on a curvy face are the followings.

 

Option1: Sketch-based hole.

Create a workplane (tangent or offset or whatever) on top of the curvy face.

Create a sketch on the workplane and add a point.

Create a sketch-based hole based on the sketch point.

 

Option2: On-point hole.

Create a workpoint on the curvy face.

Create a workaxis passing the workpoint in drill direction.

Create on-point hole by picking the workpoint and the workaxis.
