Custom Title Block Question

Hi,

I have been playing around with a custom border and title block template to try and speed up our documentation process. Currently most fields require a prompted entry to fill in the required info. This is very time consuming when you have to repeat this procedure each time a new sheet is created in a drawing file.

When adding a new sheet is there a way to make it retain the text from the first sheet?

Is there a way to get the text in a title block to reference a folder name?

If anyone can help me out that'd be great! Sorry if this post is confusing, it's hard to try and explain what I'm trying to do.

Thanks!!

Can you store the data as iProperties in the model and pull them into your
title block with the insertion of the first view? Theres a couple different
ways to do this - one is linked but won't show in the iProperties of the
drawing (so you can't use a vault query on your drawings), the other is not
linked but will fill in the iprops. Can you provide more info about the info
you're putting into your title blocks?

I'm not really looking for much info from the actual parts, just the part name which is easy enough to set-up. What I'm hoping to be able to do is have the customer name, project number, project name, etc automatically enter.

Thanks for the reply!

Use the drawing iProperties in your title block.

you can also use custom properties for those that are not covered by the standard iproperties as needed.
