Hi Everyone
Im having issues with a published ipart in the tube and pipe environement.
i have created an ipart that of tube i would like to use in tube and pipe as flexible hose. I publish the part and when i try create a new style with it in my Tube and Pipe Styles editor, its not coming through as metric even though i have specified "NS" as an "M" value and it just doesnt seem to be reading correctly in the Tube and Pipe
I have attached the ipart
Can someone please help me out

First:
- it hasn't been authored as hose
- it complains about non-unique filenames being generated (need to check the family table).
- NS of type text and when you edit the column it comes as up as real . I would create the column in family table not before.
Still looking, will get back, haven't published hoses yet.
From what I see when you add the style (any hose existing or not) you can only select diameter, so you need to split it over separate families if you want different colours.
I have removed NS from your ipart, authored it again to hoses, published to hoses and this is what I get in styles.

Ok when you take out the NS coloumn when authoring it still needs to map something to NS.
and also how do you get it to specify that there are no end fittings

As far as I see it created it automatically. Here's how my table looks like
and also how do you get it to specify that there are no end fittings
In the style dialog of tube and pipe, right click on fittings and you can select suppress fittings.
I guess you should link it to ND like this
I Deleted the NS column in my ipart
but when i try author as a hose it it wont let me continue please see attached image.
in the authoring box what must i link it too as it wont let me continue.
i tried linking it here to ND but then it didnt create a NS column in the Family once i Published it
I haven't deleted the column in the ipart but deleted the parameter in parameters. You don't need to have all columns in ipart comming from parameters. You can go to Other tab and add there your NS. As soon as I deleted the NS parameter the Column in iproperties was in Other.
Then I have authored the part again and set it it's type to Hose. Published to CC and it was working.
