Can Anyone tell me how to construct a curved tube/pipe run?
I spent hours on this and it's beyond my limited knowledge.
I've created a 3d sketch with the run of the tube on it but when I click "Derived Route" although the full 3d sketch is highlighted bugger all happens. There's nothing in the "Included Geometry" folder.
Is it because of the material? I've set it to a "Tube With Bends" and set my default radius.
Hi,
Did you try Frame Generator, which can generate curved tube or pipe as well? Not sure if it works for your case.
Thanks,

is it possible to do it in 2014?
(curved rigid pipe in tube and piping)
As far as I know Tube & & Pipe requires an elbow or branch type fitting at any bend in a rigid pipe route. Flexible tubing will do such a thing, for example bent copper tubing. I have never tried this, but I assume you could create a pipe style of nearly any diameter and material.... and as long as it is defined as a "bent tube" style (or whatever Inventor calls it), it would at least emulate a curved rigid pipe route.
Interesting, if I have some time later maybe I'll play around with that.
