What's the design intent on these welds? Do you just want pretty pictures?

I never user weldment environment. I create derived parts and add fillets with weld appearance to show them on.

You need to bevel the pipe ends first.  You can do this either at the part level or in "Preparation" under the Weld tab.  After that, it's a fairly trivial matter to generate a groove weld using "Welds" under the Weld tab.

Thank you for the zip file.

I see how you prepared the pipe ends. How would you though place the weld which would be flush with the pipes. The pipes are SS and have the weld flush with the OD of the pipe

Best Regards

Are they welded flush (not really possible), close to fush, or machined flush after welding?

I am having trouble understanding what you mean.

Do you mean there are no chamfers before the weld, but the weld bead looks similar to my example.

Or, do you mean the chamfers are OK, but the weld bead should be cylindrical flush?

Then simply replace the Fillet Welds with Full Face Groove welds.
