Creating a sub assembly in an assembly drawing

After you have created an assembly drawing with over 100 parts, is there anyway of going back and select a group of parts, and making a sub assembly out of them? Sean Fey

Select the parts you want to make up the sub assy, RMB => Demote.

You mean Assembly MODEL don't you?

In this case, demote the group of parts you select to create a new sub.

It probably goes without saying that if you CTRL-pick the
components to demote all at the same time, any constraints within the components
will be preserved.
