Brian Ekins has a brilliant post on this:
Hello there,
there is a non- Ilogic solution for this too.
You could use the same base unit throughout the sketch and dimension in fractions or multiples of this base unit parameter.
You could define a parameter named scale and say it´s 100 mm for example.
Whenever you dimension you would use something in the way of
height= 3xscale
width=5xscale
depth=0,4xscale
Whenever you need to change the overall size you just need to adjust the "scale" parameters initial value and I am sure you could align it to the drawings desired scale easily.
Kind regards
Daniel
Yes, Daniel is right. It might be cumbersome if you've allready modeled the logo to change all the parameters but you could export them to xml, edit them with something like notepad where you can do search/replace and import it back.
Could you also make the logo sketch a "block" and scale it it suit when using it?
You can easily copy the block from part to part or if you have a part template setup have it in there then it will always be there when starting new parts.
I am not sure if the logo, saved as a sketched symbol, can scale along.
I though I read something in the way, but it was quite some time ago.
If I happen to remember I´ll hit you up
Kind regards
Daniel
You can't control the scale value with a parameter.
I think you are correct. I was sure I scaled a block but it seems you cant. You can mirror one though.
Maybe a feature for the idea station? Scaleable blocks.
