Creating a Custom Iproperty

Hello, I've created a custom Iproperty and have put it into the Title block of the Drawing. The trouble I'm having though, is that I would like that iproperty to be a default property when I open a new drawing, that way I don't have to go and make a new custom property every single time I make a new drawing. So is there anyway to save an iproperty as a default property for inventor? If you have any solutions or ideas it would be much appreciated. Thank you.

You can just open your template and add the custom field there.. Then each time you start a new part using that template the custom field will be there..

Hi BP95,

To follow up on what mcgyvr suggests, there is a bit of trick to doing this if your intent is to pull a model iProperty into the drawing title block:

I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,
