create flat pattern

Hi,
I am just a beginner working in sheet metal area. Most of the time I come across many parts where I need the blank shape and size. Some of the problems I face are,
1. How to open a part similar to a tumbler with taper face?
2. How to create the above in sheet metal?
3. How to open the parts which are not created by inventor sheet metal but by standard part?

Thanks,
Rajesh

Thanks. I going through that as well.

Please refer to the part attached. I need the flat pattern for this. I assume because the part is not created based on sheet metal creation, I can't create flat pattern. So, any other way please to create flat pattern

This is not a press brake type part. It is a formed part made through
stamping and deformation of sheet metal. It is not unfoldable in Inventor.

Thanks. I was manuplating with different things for 2 days how to figure this out. You saved my time. But, it would be good if inventor can come with a solution for this.
