create a safety net

I want to create a safety net part as shown below. 

I want to use a texture of net's jpg file on the plate so as to create a dummy safety net. May I know how to do that? Thank you very much

Hi Lis,

you can use an existing material with net opacity/contrast maps.

If you want to use your texture i suggest to find/create a better quality/high contrast  image.

In this video you can see both results, even with your texture image.
