Converting to ACAD DWG Issue

When I convert an Inventor 2011 DWG to and AutoCAD 2011 DWG, some of my dimensions in AutoCAD end up having the text offset changed.  The offset should be 0.015", but it ends up being 1.79E+99".  As a result, the dimesion text is off the page.  It only seems to happen on dimensions where the arrowheads are on the outside of the extension line pointing in towards the text.  Per my contract, I have to supply my customers with AutoCAD drawings, and there are thousands of them.  Has anyone else encountered this?  I'm also all up to date on service packs.

Brian

If you could post a sample Inventor DWG the exhibits this issue we could look at it?

Wow!

That's something I've yet to see and we do this same process all day long.

Even when called up in Acad LT as we have a few stations of that here also and I don't recall seeing this issue.

Are you using a different type of dimension style or standard other than ANSI?

Not sure if that's the issue here but just thinking of possibilities.

I'll see if I can duplicate the this.

Brian,

I just attempted to duplicate this issue using different dim styles and types but was unable to get the result you are describing.

Sorry I couldn't help.
