Converting an Inventor sketch to an Autocad drawing?

I was wondering if it possible to convert a sketch from inventor to autocad without making a 3d model? If so, how do you do this? It will not allow me to copy and paste

Probably several ways

One might be to save copy as iges or step

Set options to include wires

Open in Acad and save as dwg

Right click on the sketch in the Browser, click "Export Sketch As..." select .dwg as your filetype.  Open in Autocad.

Export worked first time. Thank you. Such a simple task and I tried everything. Much appreciated.
