convert *.ipt into Collada * .dae

does anyone know how to convert a * .ipt file into collada *.dae files ?

I have found this, but it does not work

Is it that workflow that's not working or the whole export via FBX process now working?

Do you have the options of using a different intermediate file format like sat, or something else?

for the link, but the FBX converter works only with *.dxf files. So far I know, I can not convert *.ipt into a *.dxf format.

I can export to SAT and to:

DWF, DWFx, PDF, BMP, GIF, IGES, JPEG, JT, PNG, SAT, STEP, STL, TIFF, CATIA V5 (.CATProduct), Parasolid Binär (.x_b), Parasolid Text (.x_t), Pro/ENGINEER Granite (.g), Pro/ENGINEER Neutral (.neu)

But, the FBX converter can only read:  3ds, dxf, fbx, obj.

You can save as dwg and from autocad to dxf.

I just did and then from autocad to dxf, I wouldn't have told you to.

What Inventor version are you running?

This is my save copy as:

I use Inventor 2011.

With this version I can save a * .idw as dxf but unfortunately no a *.ipt to dwg.
