Contour Flange Loop

This is my first time using the Contour Flange tool and am not sure if I've got my sketch(es) setup wrong or if it won't work, but I'm trying to copy the Z-shape of Sketch3 around the three sides of Sketch1.

Can that be done by a loop? Or what other way works?

Yes! Like the first example JD. Do you have to have a Face or a feature extruded already for the Contour Flange to work?
