Content Library Nuts ?

In the new content library...select a DIN nut regular thread of some sort,
and select nominal dia. = 8 or 10, do you get a very narrow hole ??
I.e. DIN EN 1661 (Regular thread) - I think this applies to all 8/10mm
nuts....

I like the other undocumented feature that's included. Try inserting a socket head screw from
either ISO, BS or DIN libraries. Hmmm, lovely, we must all use ANSI standards (even us Europeans).

Iparts or content library, or whatever...this is included in the release, it
does not work, it`s a bug, should be fixed, sp1. (It`s nice when it works).

Two different things. iParts and the content library are two different
things that achieve the same results. It's just that iparts are much more
versatile and editable. We are suggesting you use ipart and not the content
library. It's been a running joke for while.

For me it looks that Microsoft Excel is not instalated on computer with Inventor. Excel is necessary for reading thread information from Thread.xls file. If is not installated on computer with Inventor, infomation of thread like hole size is not read and hole has defaults size, usually small. Or uses deleted file Thread.xls, where information are stored. It could be verified /Excel installation/ by creation simple part wiht threaded hole - create cube /extrude square/ and hole with thread.

Applying SP1 situaton will be little bit different, without Excel hole size will be OK but without thread, simple hole only with correct diameter.

I am able to insert ISO, BS, DIN socket head screw, these screws look good. Maybe you mean that is not possible to view other standrad than ANSI, view ANSI only. If it is this situation, then is necessary go to Configure dialog, /by clcik on Configure button in root of database/ , than edit local server and check standards like ISO, DIN, BS.
