Content Library Default Units

Can anyone tell me how I can control the default units of steel shapes
placed from the content library? I have tried changing the units of the
catalog and standard templates and neither seem to have an effect on the
parts. I need the units to be inches and they're always created with mm's.
I know that I can change the in the document settings after they are created
but this is becoming tedious. I really would appreciate any help I can get.

I've been looking for the same solution, but I think since IV is "mm" based
in its programming, it cannot be changed.

OK, OK Sean... I'll be politically correct (if there is a political stance
on this)

They are SI (International System of Units), not USCS (U.S. Customary
System).
:P

Either way I don't think changing the SI to USCS in the content library is
possible.

I was just kidding as IV uses internal units of cm, rad and grams for
everything...You run into it a lot when doing programming as it converts all
values to one of these units then you have to convert them back.
