Content Center Update 2010 - library with same GUID

Within ADMS

When trying to copy (migrate greyed out) a 2009 My Library to a 2010 partition - first a red exclamation mark appears (same name as 2010 My Library?) so chosing to copy returns a "library with same GUID" message.

What's a GUID?
How can 2010 see the 2009 My Library?

Cheers

Do you already have a 2010 My Library? If it's empty, delete it.

In this case it sounds like you have already copied the "2009 My Library" to
the 2010 partition.

Each library has a Globally Unique IDentifier (a GUID) that is generated
when the library is created. We use this internally so that we can still
find the right library even after it has been renamed. Any given library can
only exist once in a given partition. In addition, SQL requires that every
database has a unique name (hence we started putting the year in the names).

If you want to start over and copy the 2009 My Library to the 2010 partition
again, you need to delete the one in the 2010 partition first. But beware
that if edits have been made to the 2010 library after it was copied over,
then those edits will be lost. And if any content was instanced from the
2010 library it could become orphaned (worse case) or need to be refreshed.
