Content Center - Studs

I can't seem to find studs in the Content Center to drop into my assembly. Are they not included?

I'm running Inventor Professional 2014.

No studs are included in CC.  I've been wishing for them for several years... finally created a bunch of my own.  You can AutoDrop them, but they do not work well with Bolted Connection wizard.

I've been playing with that, however, and if I come up with a happy workaround I'll post something or add it to my blog site.... or both!  😄

I know in 2012 they are there.

Not sure what standard you are looking for, but they are here.

I know these did not work for us and we ended up creating our own with english units at the lengths we tylically buy and publishing those into the CC.

Studs are also in the CC in 2013. I don't have 2014 so I can't test but you may need to play around with your Library View and/or Filter settings to see them.

Brendan,

Thank you for that screen shot!

I found only about 8 metric studs in my folder. Does anyone know if that's the extent of that folder for 2014? I don't have any filters turned on so I'm assuming that's all my library has.

In 2013 it appears that ALL of the studs shown in my earlier graphic are metric. I'm thinking that you don't have enough libraries installed as cbenner didn't as he only had the ANSI library. Below is a picture of the libraries I installed. I don't use any of the ones past the first read/write, but I have all the others there incase I need to copy from a read only to my read.write.

Like I stated earilier, we created our own and published those.  They have the correct material and physical size specs we need.  It took a little bit of time, but they work like a charm!!! Smiley Happy
