Hi.
I installed Inventor 2014 some months ago and have been working with the content center on a regular basis. I recently went on a business trip and when I got back my content center library diolog is completely blank.
I can not figure out what could possibly have happend to the installation settings to cause this.
HELP!

Welcome to the forum.
Are you using Vault?
Can you post an image of what you are seeing?
It might be similar to what happened to a few of us in my department including myself.
We are using 2012 and there was no advanced notice. Just turned on our machines one morning and vawala, it was gone. Ended up uninstalling and reinstalling the software.

I found the solution...
tools\application opptions\content center... access options.. in my case inventor desktop content and "location of libraries". it was pointing to a different location than I had originally specified.
the location in question should contain the following files:
AI2014_Inventor ANSI.idcl
AI2014_Inventor DIN.idcl
AI2014_Inventor Feature.idcl
AI2014_Inventor ISO.idcl
AI2014_Inventor JIS & GB.idcl
AI2014_Inventor Sheet Metal.idcl
My Library.idcl
My Library.idz
if it does not the "Place from content center" dialog box is empty.
I am thinking im going to load a copy of the file to vault so they can be used from there.
Thanks for the prompt reply
