Content center - custom property

Hi

So, theres a way to insert a custom property into a content center file?

Like, if i use a Nut for exemple, i need to add a new columm called "Cod Pro", any kind a Nuts like messures and other properties have a diferent value in that columm, and i need to put this values manually.

I need to show this custom property into BOM, like i have in my other parts.

I already create a new library, i already add a collum into a copy of a Nut, i already add a value into that columm, but when i open BOM and choose that columm the value is empty.

If anyone can help, i aprreciated.

You can use your parameters to automatically fill out your custom iproperty using ilogic. Here are some examples in this thread that might be able to help.

If you can explain exactly what you want your “Cod Pro” custom iproperty to say I might be able to show you an example.

I hope this helps.

Hi Leokornowski,

I might not have understood your situation, but if you've edited the Content Center part table using the Content Center Editor and added information to the part, but that information is not showing up in the part, it could be that you need to use the Refresh button found by going to the Manage tab > Content Center panel > Refresh button:

I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,

Hi all...

I solved the problem, when i open Family Table under Editor on Inventor, right click in column and then Properties, theres a option: Map To Inventor Property, e select Custom and put a value that i needed, so, works...
But i dont know if this is the right think to do, but works...

Thanks a lot.

So, i have another problem now, with my codes again.

I use a Vault Content Center Library, to center the information.

When i open BOM in a computer i used to made my new itens in library and properties, that properties dont show, but, when i open from another computer, that properties show correctly, and i wonder if theres a folder like a cache to refer to the itens i made??

I use Inventor 2015
