constraints

I'm working with an assembly and I'm trying to line up the hole from a component with a ref. line (imaginary at this point) as shown on attached jpg.  Which constraint option should I be using?

Looking at the pic, I'd probably do an angular (directed or undirected) assembly constraint set at 45 deg using an origin plane of the shaft and the top face (or an origin plane) of the plate.

FYI an iam file is only a list of hyperlinks to ipt files and a record of assembly constraints.

The .iam is useless without the part files, but your picture is pretty clear.  I think that I would create a workplane through the 45° line and mate the hole axis to that.
