Constraints not showing

I'm running IV2008 SP3. Since installing SP3, a couple of days ago, I've noticed that when I place a constraint it doesn't always apply the constraint. I'm not talking about the preview button in the constaint dialog either. For example if I were to place a bolt and a washer into an assembly then do an insert constraint on them they would stay in the spot where I first placed them, they would not snap together. If I select one and drag it then they snap together. This only appears to happen in assemblies whith a flexible subassembly. I was just wondering if anyone else has seen this and if anybody has a fix for it.

Nope, checked that. I did a test assembly and everything worked fine until I made a subassembly flexible. Then, when I turned flexibility off it was fine again.

Hi! Could you post or send me an example? I cannot seem to reproduce the problem.
Thanks!

Sorry I cannot give you example, but after digging through it a liitle more I have found that it is only one assembly being flexible that causes the problem. I think it is something wrong with this assembly so I will try and work through it and find a solution.

Was that an Aha! moment or do you still have an issue with the original
assy?

I'm still not sure what is wrong with the one subassembly, but I have other subs that are flexible and every thing seems to be fine. So, I'll just leave the one not flexible and work through it. Thanks for the help.
