Composite surface not visible in 2D drawing

A colleague has an assembly .iam sent to us by a supplier. I suspect it wasn't originally created in Inventor, but in some other system. Most (but not all) of it shows up in Inventor as a Composite (surface?).

It all looks fine on the screen, but we create a 2D drawing in Inventor, the composite part is not visible on screen in the drawing, nor does it plot.

Any suggestions, please?

no problem here seeing composites, you could try right clicking on the part in the browser and tick include surfaces

To clarify further for anyone looking (I'm currently on 2019):

In the drawing file,

Right Click the Drawing View (in the Browser) / double-click the Drawing View,

Click "Edit View...",

Click the "Recovery Options" tab,

Select "Include Surface Bodies".
