Color question?

The colors appearing on my screen seem to be lighter than the (default) true
color. Ex. The default blue chrome appears as black chrome. Any setup to
change this.

Some of the colors (rgb/hsl values) changed between R6 & R7, it is
possible some of the colors changed again. Open an old file and look at
the rgb numbers for a color and compare them with the same color in a
new file.
